Description

PMMA – Polymethyl methacrylate. PMMA is a transparent thermoplastic material. High transparency, the ability to be used outdoors (UV resistance), and chemical and mechanical resistance make PMMA an excellent substitute for glass. Due to its production technology, it can be divided into extruded and cast PMMA.

Most often offered in sheet form, PMMA is also available in tubes and rods. Standard PMMA sheets are offered in formats no larger than 2050×3050 mm, but PMMA XT can be specially manufactured for longer sheets, up to 2050×6050 mm.

PMMA sheets are highly flammable (flammability class E according to the EN 13501 standard). Furthermore, all PMMA sheet products are easily recycled.
