FAQ

Ordering and Purchasing

How to contact Westplast?

We are available by phone and email, and you can also visit our office/warehouse in Gdańsk. All contacts are on the "Contacts" page.

Do you work only with companies or also with private customers?

Both with companies and private customers. Contact us – we'll help you select and place an order.

Are the prices on the website accurate?

Prices may change, so it's better to confirm the final cost with a manager – we'll quickly calculate and confirm the price for your request.

What is the minimum order?

Most often you can buy from 1 sheet. In many cases, we can cut the material to your sizes – just specify when contacting us.

How can I pay for the order?

Usually by bank transfer (via invoice), and for self-pickup, payment on site is possible – in cash or by card (we'll advise current options when ordering).

Are there discounts for bulk orders?

Yes. For wholesale purchases and regular customers, we offer individual terms – write or call, and we'll calculate.

Delivery and Self-pickup

Do you offer delivery?

Yes. We deliver within the Tri-City and nearby areas, and across Poland we ship via courier services or carriers.

Where are you located?

We have one branch – office and warehouse in Gdańsk. From here we ship orders.

How do you pack sheet materials?

We pack them so that the sheets arrive intact: we protect surfaces and corners, and if necessary, ship on a pallet.

How long does it take to receive an order?

If the product is in stock – self-pickup is often possible the same day. Delivery across Poland usually takes 1–2 working days after preparation and payment.

Can I return a product?

Yes, returns are possible within 14 days for consumer purchases, if the product hasn't been used and its appearance is preserved. Important: material that we've cut to your sizes usually cannot be returned.

Services

Do you offer custom cutting to size?

Yes. We can cut material to your dimensions – convenient for transportation and further work.

Do you perform installation?

No, we supply materials and don't perform installation. If needed, we can recommend where to find contractors.

Can I order something not listed on the website?

Yes. If you need a non-standard color, thickness, or rare item – we'll try to source it on order. Write what exactly you need.

Can I see/get samples?

Yes, you can visit us in Gdańsk and see samples to choose materials with confidence.

Materials and Specifications

Where can I get TDS and certificates?

We'll provide them upon request – a manager will send technical data sheets and necessary certificates along with the commercial offer or before shipment.

Do you have materials suitable for outdoor use (UV-resistant)?

Yes, depending on the material and series. Tell us where and how you plan to use it – we'll select an option that works well outdoors.

What's the difference between cast acrylic and extruded acrylic?

Cast acrylic is better suited for thermoforming, laser processing, and behaves more "calmly" during machining. Extruded acrylic is usually slightly more affordable and has more consistent thickness.

How eco-friendly are the materials?

Many plastics are recyclable. If your project has ecological requirements or certification needs – specify, and we'll select a suitable option.

What adhesive should I choose for plastic?

This depends on the material (PVC, acrylic, HIPS, etc.). Describe what exactly needs to be bonded and under what conditions – we'll recommend a suitable adhesive.

Can plastic withstand temperature and heat?

Different materials have different working ranges. Tell us what temperature and operating conditions – we'll help select the appropriate material.

Does acrylic yellow over time?

Quality acrylic usually maintains transparency for a long time. Service life greatly depends on the grade and usage conditions – we'll suggest the optimal option for your task.

What can I use to cut plastic myself?

Thin sheets can sometimes be cut with a knife, while thicker ones require a jigsaw or circular saw with a suitable blade and careful technique to avoid melting the edges. If unsure – it's better to order cutting from us.
